PRAYER MEETING ON PTM (18.05. 2019)

A writer comes to the Master in the monastery to write a book about the Master

 He asked, “People say you are a genius, Are you?

 “You might say so” said the master none too modestly.

 “What makes one a genius?

“The ability to recognize.”

 “Recognize what?”

 “The butterfly in a caterpillar: The eagle in an egg: The saint in a selfish human being.”

Dear teachers, the society considers each one of us as genius therefore they have entrusted their children in our care. They count on each of us for the betterment of the society, especially the young minds of the society.

Do we have the ability to recognize….

·         Are we able to recognize… A doctor in the one who sits in front of us and listens to our Lectures?

·         Are we able to recognize… a Scientist in your student who will make difference in our life by his/her research and discovery?

·         Are we able to recognize in your student the future business Tycoon of our country?

·         Are we able to recognize… an efficient Politician who would change the Political scenario of our country by his/her efficiency?

·         Or An ARTIST who will beautify the earth with his Creative mind..

·         A Tech SAVY who will develop the artificial intelligence of our era and develop the country technologically?

·         An ASTRONAUT who will fly high taking your name in the sky !!!!

·         Leave alone all these….

·         Do we recognize… a TEACHER in the TAUGHT?

·         If we ask the children of our class, what would you want to become in life, the answer will rarely be a TEACHER.

·         If we further ask what would be the reason that they don’t want to become a teacher… the answer may be SILENT.

·         Their silence can mean many things to us..

·         It can be because it is the least appreciated and highly expected job. But we have chosen a noble job of all job which others don’t have. Have we done justice to this noble job?

·         Dear Teachers “We can always count how many seeds are there in an apple but we can never count how many apples are there in a seed”.

·         Seed has the potential of life

·         The Seeds are given in our hands!!!

·         We are their maker & creator. Redeemer!!!

·      AS  Albert Einstein says “Everyone one is genius. If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live it whole life believing that it is a stupid.”

·         As we begin the new academic year, as we are in the threshold of this Academic year, let us ask God for this grace to recognize, understand and mould each child given into our care, God’s special master piece. We make this prayer in the name of our God…. As we sing together the song. I HAVE A DREAM..
