DIWALI DAY SPEECH BY THE PRINCIPAL

*DIWALI DAY SPEECH* Good Morning dear teachers and students, and a very Happy Diwali to all of you. It is my great pleasure to address you on this auspicious occasion. Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is a time of joy, unity, and reflection. It holds a special place in our hearts as it transcends religious and cultural boundaries, bringing people together to celebrate the triumph of light over darkness. Diwali is a time for us to embrace the values of love, compassion, and togetherness. It's a moment to reflect on the importance of spreading kindness and happiness to those around us. In our school, we strive to instill these values in our students every day, and Diwali provides the perfect opportunity to reinforce these lessons. The lighting of diyas and candles symbolizes the dispelling of ignorance and the illumination of knowledge. It is a reminder for all of us, especially our students, to seek knowledge, wisdom, and truth in our lives. Education is the most powerful tool that can bring about positive change in our world, and it's our duty to nurture the minds of our students, helping them become responsible and enlightened individuals. Diwali is also a time for us to appreciate the importance of family and friends. It's a time to come together, share moments of joy, and strengthen our bonds. As a school, we are not just an institution of learning; we are a family that supports, nurtures, and guides our students towards a brighter future. Let us also remember the less fortunate during this festival. Diwali is an opportunity for us to reach out to those in need, to share our blessings, and to make a positive impact on the lives of others. Our school encourages our students to engage in acts of charity and community service, and Diwali is an ideal occasion to put these values into practice. As we celebrate Diwali, let us be mindful of the environment and our responsibilities towards it. The use of eco-friendly and sustainable practices during this festival not only preserves our planet but also sets an example for the younger generation to follow. In conclusion, Diwali is a time for us to celebrate the victory of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. Let us all strive to embody these values in our lives, and let our school be a beacon of light that illuminates the path to a brighter future for our students. I wish you all a safe and prosperous Diwali, filled with love, joy, and unity. Thank you and happy Diwali! God bless you!!!! Sr. Elizabeth Rani cfmss
